Guest Post Guidelines

I'm honored that you're thinking about submitting a guest post for me! It really does help when people are willing to work together, contribute new, interesting perspective, and most of all, thanks for lending your time! Because this corner of the internet (wait, is it even really a corner? Oh, who knows!), is mainly used for some humorous, yet educational, insightful, thoughtful material, I thought I'd set forth a few guidelines. Don't worry! It's not word limits or anything like that, but I'm going to try and get this little space spruced up enough so that I can refer to it in my medical school endeavors in the future. So, without further ado, here are three simple guidelines.
  • When you think you've got your topic decided, e-mail me, and I will put you on my "blog calendar" to see when you fit into the posting schedule. (Yes, I'm a nerd like that.)
  • After I've e-mailed you back with the date your post will go live, please, please try your very best to have the post written and sent to me two days before your "live" date. That way, everything is set to go, and my readers are all happy and excited to hear from you when your "live" date arrives.
  • PLEASE HAVE FUN! Writing a blog post shouldn't be work for anyone (unless, of course, you're keeping a blog for the company for which you work or something similar), and if you find you can't meet your "two days before" deadline, just e-mail me again. We'll work it out!
